Advocator Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Advocator plans, writes, reviews and updates legal content for users seeking information about UAE law. Our aim is to provide clear general legal information while keeping a firm boundary between educational content and advice for an individual matter.

How We Select and Prepare Content

Each page is planned around one defined question or purpose. We avoid creating multiple pages that serve the same search intent, and we attribute legal articles to identifiable authors with professional profile pages.

  • One primary purpose for each page.
  • Titles and descriptions must accurately reflect the content.
  • No promises, guaranteed outcomes or misleading claims.

Sources and Legal Review

For legislation, procedures, deadlines, official fees and other time-sensitive legal information, we rely primarily on UAE government, judicial and regulatory sources. Where legal review has actually been completed, the reviewer’s name, professional title and review date are shown separately.

  • Official sources take priority for changing legal information.
  • Content is not labelled “legally reviewed” before review is complete.
  • Material legal claims are checked before publication or substantive update.

Use of AI and Digital Tools

AI-assisted and other digital tools may support research organisation, drafting, editing or translation. They are not treated as legal authorities and do not replace human editorial responsibility. A human reviews the final text and the supporting sources before publication.

Updates and Publication Dates

The original publication date remains unchanged. When a meaningful revision is made, a separate updated or reviewed date is shown. Content is also revisited when a change in law or procedure may affect accuracy.
